Description

1901 $10 MS 66 NGC. Like most late-date issues in the Liberty eagle series, the 1901 is common enough in lower grades to fit comfortably into the budget of most collectors. The relatively few Gem quality survivors of this issue do, however, witness considerable competition from high quality type collectors. This is a superior coin in all regards whose golden-rose surfaces glow with frosty luster. The essentially mark-free surfaces allow for full appreciation of the pinpoint striking definition. Population: 18 in 66, only 1 finer.
