Description

1901-O Ten Dollar Liberty, MS63
Elusive CAC-Approved Representative

1901-O $10 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Winter-2. This is an early die state piece, where the heavy crack through the eagle's left (facing) wingtip is just beginning to form at the S in STATES. The 1901-O eagle as a whole is scarce in this grade and rare with CAC endorsement. Finer examples are out of reach for many collectors. This piece displays sharp definition and rich yellow-gold luster. Only light handling marks on Liberty's cheek prevent consideration of a finer grade. Population: 97 in 63 (7 in 63+), 25 finer. CAC: 28 in 63, 6 finer (12/24).(Registry values: N2998)
