Lustrous Mint State 1901-O Eagle
1901-O $10 MS63 PCGS. This issue ranks among just five New Orleans gold coins issued during the 20th century. The only others are the 1903-O, 04-O, and 06-O eagles, and the 1909-O half eagle. Frosty luster brings out the rich orange-gold color of this piece, with sharp design details on both sides. Few similar or finer examples have been certified by PCGS.
