Description
1901-S $10 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. A quintessential favorite among type collectors needing an example of the With Motto Liberty Head eagle, this San Francisco date ranks high not only for its availability, but also for the eye appeal and quality. The current coin is Choice for the near-Gem grade. Frosty and lustrous, the sharp strike shows only minor blending on stars 12 and 13. Marks are minimal for the grade, with an alloy dot at the denomination and die-related roughness at STATES OF. Lilac overtones provide terrific eye appeal.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267S, PCGS# 8749, GSID# 9531)
