Lovely Gem 1901-S Liberty Ten
1901-S $10 MS65 NGC. The 1901 and 1901-S eagles are the two obvious candidates for type collectors, due to their high mintages and similarly high survival rates. Both issues are also well made, meaning that an above average example can be found in high grade. The present Gem is one such piece with bold design details, dynamic luster, attractive lemon-gold toning, and a well preserved portrait.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267S, PCGS# 8749, GSID# 9531)
