Description

1901-S Ten Dollar, MS66
Popular Type Coin

1901-S $10 MS66 NGC. The 1901-S is an immensely popular type coin in part due to its astonishing mintage at around 2.8 million coins, the highest from the San Francisco Mint and the second highest in the denomination's history. This example is well-struck, and no readily apparent weakness would prove overly garish to the appeal. A hair-thin pedigree marker scratch runs through Liberty's nose. This piece is a visually striking piece for type collectors.(Registry values: N4719)
