Description

Low Mintage Near-Gem 1902 Liberty Ten

1902 $10 MS64 PCGS. The 1902 is perhaps underappreciated due to its proximity to the 1901, the most common Philadelphia issue of the series. But the 1902 has a mintage of just 82,400 pieces and is very scarce at the MS64 level. This is a lovely canary-gold near-Gem with unmarked surfaces and a hint of aqua patina near the IB in LIBERTY. Population: 18 in 64, 3 finer (9/09).(Registry values: N2998)
