    1903 Eagle, Conditionally Rare MS65

    1903 $10 MS65 NGC. The 1903 ten dollar piece can be obtained with relatively little trouble through the MS63 level of preservation. Near-Gems are scarce and Gems are extremely elusive. Beyond MS65 this issue is virtually unobtainable. The yellow-gold surfaces of this Gem exhibit well-struck design elements. A shallow milling mark left of Liberty's nose and another above the eagle's neck may help identify the coin. Census: 10 in 65, 0 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)
