Description

1903 Ten Dollar, Rare MS65+
Beautiful, Frosty Surfaces

1903 $10 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The 1903 Liberty eagle is a great condition rarity in MS65. We have previously offered a Gem or better example on only nine occasions, of which just two were for Plus-designated coins. This CAC-approved example is easily among the finest 1903 eagles that we have seen. The strike is sharp, and the frosty wheat-gold surfaces are nearly perfect aside from a lone mark behind Liberty's eye that determines pedigree. Population: 8 in 65 (2 in 65+), 1 finer. CAC: 1 in 65, 1 finer (9/17).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267V, PCGS# 8752, Greysheet# 9424)

Weight: 16.72 grams

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
