Description

1903-O Ten Dollar, MS63 CAC
New Orleans Type Coin

1903-O $10 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Winter-1. Ex: The Fairmont Collection. Most 1903-O tens are abraded from loose bank vault storage, but the present wheat-gold example shows relatively few marks. We note only some chatter above the eagle's head. A late die state with numerous reverse cracks, unusual for Winter-1. A New Orleans type issue, but nonetheless becomes rare above the Select level. The high quality within the grade is confirmed by CAC. PCGS has graded 33 numerically finer examples. CAC: 40 in 63, 8 finer (12/25).(Registry values: N2998)
