Description
1903-O Liberty Eagle, MS64
Sharp Condition Rarity
1903-O $10 MS64 PCGS. Variety One. Garrett and Guth describe
this issue as a "great rarity" in MS64 or finer grades, and the
population reports confirm the description. This example is
particularly lustrous and attractive. Frosty surfaces display a
full strike and excellent appeal for the assigned grade. A few tiny
marks are seen with a loupe on the obverse, and a small group of
shallow abrasions beneath the eagle is noted on the reverse. Olive
highlights visit the rich, apricot-gold patina. Population: 20 in
64, 1 finer (6/14).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267W, PCGS# 8753, Greysheet# 9533)
