Description

1903-S Eagle, Crisp MS66
Smooth Peach-Gold Surfaces

1903-S $10 MS66 PCGS. The 1903-S has a higher mintage and survival rate in high grades than its Philadelphia and New Orleans cousins, but that should not diminish the importance of this conditionally rare Premium Gem eagle. Coruscating luster embraces smooth peach-gold surfaces devoid of major flaws. Each side exhibits crisp strike detail, although the upper stars lack their centers and radials. Population: 24 in 66 (2 in 66+), 3 finer (4/16).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267X, PCGS# 8754, Greysheet# 9534)
