    Second Finest 1904-O Eagle MS67

1904-O $10 MS67 PCGS. Our Pittsburgh Sale from last summer included two Gem (MS65) examples of this conditionally scarce late-date New Orleans issue, but that quality pair aside, we have never offered an MS65 or better 1904-O Ten Dollar. So it is with more than a bit of excitement that we are able to offer this spectacular O-mint Eagle. The peerless, satiny surfaces are tinged in delicate orange and olive patina, being also very well struck for the issue. A few wispy luster grazes in the fields are visible under close scrutiny. Only the incredible Eliasberg specimen, certified by NGC as MS68, could possibly exceed the quality of this Superb Gem. Population: 1 in 67, 0 finer (12/04).
