Description

1905-S $10 MS62 NGC. A more challenging issue to locate in Mint State than the 1879-S, 1885-S, and 1898-S, the 1905-S (369,250 pieces produced) is not widely recognized as a condition rarity. This is a bright, satiny example whose surfaces are crisply struck in all areas. A modest glow is seen in the fields, the color is a warm reddish-gold hue. Scattered abrasions account for the grade. Population: 13 in 62, 2 finer (11/04).
Ex: Heritage (1/02), lot 8319.
