Description

Condition Rarity 1905-S Ten Dollar, MS63

1905-S $10 MS63 NGC. The grade of MS63 is the finest most collectors will ever encounter of the 1905-S ten dollar. Apparently, few were saved by collectors and few were sent overseas. Consequently, coins above this grade level are virtually unobtainable. Soft luster resides on the greenish-gold surfaces of this Select example, and a well executed strike imparts sharp detail to the devices. Scattered small marks preclude a finer grade but do not diminish the coin's appeal. Census: 5 in 63, 0 finer (9/09).(Registry values: N2998)
