Description
1906 Liberty Head Ten, MS65
Beautiful, Conditionally Rare Example
1906 $10 MS65 PCGS. This early 20th century issue had a
relatively modest mintage of 165,497 pieces, but it is easily
available in Mint State grades of 60 to 62, where more than 1,750
coins have been rated by the two major services. Far fewer are
known at the MS63 to MS64 levels, and examples are rare any
finer. This remarkable Gem exhibits bright, intensely lustrous surfaces adorned by lovely hues of peach-gold and sun-gold. The design motifs are sharply struck and nearly full, and just a few trivial blemishes are noted on both sides of the coin. Population: 8 in 65, 4 finer (10/14).(Registry values: N4719)
