Description

1907 Liberty Eagle, Rose-Gold MS65

1907 $10 MS65 NGC. Christian Gobrecht's Liberty Head design was implemented on ten dollar gold coins for the final time in 1907, when 1.2 million eagles were struck. Gems are elusive, while anything finer is extremely rare. Thickly frosted and boldly rendered, this MS65 representative presents rose-gold surfaces with only minor field chatter on the obverse. A series of reeding marks appear left of the chin. Census: 83 in 65 (2 in 65+), 7 finer (2/17).(Registry values: N4719)
