Description

1907-D Eagle, MS63 Prooflike
Rare With Reflective Fields

1907-D $10 MS63 Prooflike NGC. The Denver Mint commenced coinage in 1906, and the Liberty eagle series ended in 1907. Thus, there are only two issues of D-mint Liberty tens. Although the 1907-D has a slightly higher mintage than its 1906-D predecessor, it is much scarcer in Mint State. It is also rare with a Prooflike designation. NGC and PCGS each show only two pieces certified as Prooflike (3/24). This lightly abraded example displays nicely struck apricot-gold surfaces and decided reflectivity from both fields.
