    1840 $10 AU55 NGC. The wheat-gold surfaces have a small patch of carrot-orange centered at 6 o'clock on the obverse with correspondence on the reverse. The design features are well-defined with only light highpoint wear. Myriad tiny abrasions pepper both sides, typical of a large gold coin having experienced brief circulation. This piece will fit comfortably in a high-grade collection. Census: 30 in 55, 26 finer (8/16).
