    1850-O Ten Dollar, AU50
    Seldom Seen Finer Than This

1850-O $10 AU50 NGC. Variety 1. The 1850-O ten is moderately scarce as an issue, but decidedly difficult in higher grades than this piece. Streaks of honey toning overlay this typically struck and moderately example. Unlike other O-mint issues between 1848 and 1853, the 1850-O never comes with a shield ring atop the second vertical stripe. Softly struck in the centers. Scarcer than implied by the mintage of 57,500 pieces.
