Challenging in All Grades
1871-S $10 AU50 PCGS. PCGS estimates that only 80 to 100 of
the 16,500 eagles struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1871 survive
today. This one experienced moderate circulation, but traces of
field reflectivity remain. Orange-gold surfaces exhibit scattered
marks and a bit of blending over the highest points of the design.
