specialists and ten dollar gold collectors will have to settle for
an MS61 or at best a comparable MS62 example of the 1890-CC eagle.
Finer representatives are major condition rarities. This is a
gorgeous rose and green-gold CC ten with lively mint luster and a
hint of semiprooflikeness in the obverse fields. The stars and wing
feathers are pinpoint-sharp. From a mintage of 17,500 coins.
