Description

PCGS 1854-O Large Date MS 60. The rarer of the two varieties, the Large Date '54-O is a coin that is seldom seen above VF with XF specimens quite desirable. This is the finest specimen certified and the finest known. The surfaces are fully lustrous and the central striking details a bit softly defined. The coin has a lovely, muted orange-gold color. An angling mark is noted in the upper left obverse field and there is a squiggly die crack from the obverse rim at 3 o'clock that terminates at the bun in the back of the head. A rare and important opportunity for the specialist.
