Appealing 1839-D Half Eagle
1839-D $5 AU58 NGC. Variety 2-A. This needle-sharp and attractive Borderline Uncirculated piece exhibits ample glowing luster. The surfaces are smooth and clean to the unaided eye, and a few wispy marks near the eagle's head and above the highest arrow head are only when viewed beneath a glass.
