1840 $5 Broad Mill AU55 NGC. The two varieties of this year are referred to as the "Narrow Mill" and the "Broad Mill," the latter being the rarer. Referred to as "Large Diameter" on the holder. Traces of luster reside in the recesses of the yellow-gold surfaces and the design elements are well defined, save for the usually softness on the eagle's neck.
