1840 $5 MS61 PCGS. The fields appear to glow against the subdued designs on this bright specimen. There is an inconsequential light vertical scratch on the face, and field marks left of the eagle's head. This scarce issue is seldom encountered above XF. Population: 6 in 61, 3 finer (6/01).
