Narrow Mill, Peach Toning

1840 $5 Narrow Mill MS63 NGC. A peach-gold Select half eagle with an intricate strike, lustrous borders, and flashy fields. Relevant marks are confined to a bright area on the upper left obverse field. Another early Liberty issue that becomes scarce in AU and very rare in the present grade. Housed in a prior generation holder. Census: 3 in 63, 3 finer (2/15).
