1841 $5 AU50 NGC. Although not an extreme rarity like its quarter eagle counterpart, the 1841 five is very scarce in all grades. Only 15,833 pieces were struck, fewer than the higher-priced Charlotte and Dahlonega issues of the year. Problem-free and partly lustrous. Housed in a former generation holder.(Registry values: P6)
