Scarce 1841 Five Dollar, MS61
1841 $5 MS61 PCGS. As the low mintage of 15,833 pieces would suggest, the 1841 half eagle is scarce in all levels of preservation. Whispers of mint-green lace the apricot-gold surfaces of this MS61 specimen and a precise strike delivers strong definition to the design features. Each side reveals distributed small marks.
