Lovely 1841-C Half Eagle, Choice XF
1841-C $5 XF45 NGC. Variety 1. The only variety. The 1841-C is a scarce issue with a mintage of just 21,467 pieces and it becomes challenging in grades above Extremely Fine. Splendid pumpkin-orange patina covers both sides of this lightly abraded piece. The upper part of the reverse is a bit soft, but the rest of the details are clear.(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25SP, PCGS# 8203, GSID# 8961)
