1842 $5 Large Letters AU58 NGC. The scarcer of the two major varieties, the Large Letters has much closer spacing on the reverse peripheral legends than on its Small Letters counterpart. A boldly struck and impressive Borderline Uncirculated example, Liberty's neck has a faint vertical hairline that is barely worthy of singular mention. The fields are surprisingly unmarked.
