1842-D Large Date Fine 15 NGC. The first of two examples of this landmark rarity in the Dahlonega series. This piece is softly struck and extensively worn. The coin appears original and there are deep accents of reddish-russet patina at the margins. Trends $1,150 in Fine 12.
