Rare With CAC Green Endorsement
1844-O $5 AU55 PCGS. CAC. Variety 5. Ex: The Fairmont
Collection. At least eight die pairs are confirmed for the 1844-O,
a popular No Motto New Orleans issue. Only a small percentage of
certified examples have been approved by CAC, but the present lot
bears the coveted green bean. The apricot-gold surfaces are
original and nicely struck. Luster emerges from design elements,
and there are no distracting marks. CAC: 17 in 55, 39 finer
(8/23).(Registry values: P5)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25TA, PCGS# 8222, Greysheet# 8977)
