Pretty AU58 1844-O Five Dollar
1844-O $5 AU58 NGC. Fairly elusive in Mint State, although not as much as previously thought. Most certified examples grade only Choice XF or thereabouts. This piece is a hair's-breadth away from Mint State, with pretty orange-gold surfaces and excellent luster remaining. The strike is good for the issue.(Registry values: P5)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25TA, PCGS# 8222, GSID# 8977)
