Uncirculated Details 1846-C Five

1846-C $5 --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. Unc. Details. Variety 8-E. An early die state that clearly shows the repunching on the base of the 1. The eagle's neck and Liberty's lovelock lack absolute detail, but the strike is above average for a Charlotte Mint product. There is no indication of wear, and no abrasions are evident apart from the patches of hairlines found on both sides.(Registry values: P5)
