1847 $5 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Ex: H.W. Bass, Jr. Collection. This
alertly struck example has flashy fields and lustrous borders.
Refreshingly free from noticeable bagmarks. No Motto half eagles of
any date are very scarce in Select Mint State, unlike No Motto
twenties recovered in quantity from shipwreck hoards. Population:
22 in 63, 5 finer (11/08).Ex: Harry W. Bass, Jr. Collection, Part II (Bowers and Merena, 10/1999), lot 971.
