1847/7 $5 AU58 NGC. Breen-6570. The top of the 7 is prominently repunched. Not to be confused with the "Top of Extra 7" Guide Book variety, which is Breen-6571. Determined cherrypickers can locate several different repunched date and misplaced date varieties of the 1847. Well struck and partly lustrous with a pleasantly unmarked appearance.(Registry values: P6)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25TL, PCGS# 8232, Greysheet# 8984)
