Description

1847/7 $5 AU58 NGC. Ex: Bass. Breen-6570. A highly attractive example with prooflike fields and unblemished surfaces. Though lightly circulated, this example has higher eye appeal than some Mint State survivors. The 7 is boldly repunched north. Perhaps lot 977 from the Bass II auction.
