1848-D $5 XF45 PCGS. CAC. Variety 19-N. This is the same die marriage as the repunched mintmark variety, but the present piece is the later die state with no evidence of the initial low-entered mintmark. A well detailed yellow-gold Choice XF Dahlonega five with a few moderate marks on the reverse field and a rim ding beneath the 8 in the date.(Registry values: P3)
