1849-C $5 --Improperly Cleaned, Reverse Repair--NGC. XF Details. Variety 2, which has the date placed closer to the bust relative to the more available Variety 1. The upper reverse field is smoothed, and this Charlotte five has a mildly bright yellow-gold appearance.
