1850 $5 AU58 NGC. CAC. Both sides of this near-Mint specimen have nearly full satin luster with only a hint of high-point wear. An exceptional example that has original coloration. The 1850 half eagle is scarce in this grade and rare any finer. An undervalued Philadelphia issue. Census: 30 in 58 (1 in 58+), 6 finer. CAC: 6 in 58, 2 finer (4/17).
