Description

1850 Half Eagle, MS62
Semiprooflike, Conditionally Rare

1850 $5 MS62 PCGS. The 1850 half eagle is rarely seen in any Mint State grade, and only one coin is finer than the present one at PCGS (3/20). This piece displays semireflective fields and bright yellow-gold color. The strike is sharp, and only light handling marks prevent a finer grade. An eye-appealing example of this conditionally rare issue. Population: 5 in 62, 1 finer (3/20).(Registry values: P6)
