    Description

1851-D $5 -- Filed Rims -- Genuine PCGS. AU Details. Variety 30-V. A rare die marriage that can be identified at arm's length by the date placement. The first 1 touches the bust and the second 1 is distant from the bust, unlike the other three 1851-D varieties. This lemon-gold Dahlonega five appears unimpaired upon first glance, but close inspection reveals rim irregularities near the date, AMERICA, and stars 5 to 8.
