Two-Toned Select 1852 Half Eagle
Boldly Struck and Minimally Abraded
1852 $5 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Despite the high mintage approaching
600,000 business strikes, Mint State examples of the 1852 half
eagle are scarce, and Choice pieces are rare. This Select coin
exhibits deep orange-gold color at the centers melding into lilac
accents at the rims, a stunning piece with much eye appeal, boldly
struck and minimally abraded for the grade. Population: 20 in 63, 9
finer (7/12).(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25UA, PCGS# 8250, Greysheet# 8898)
