Description
1853 Five Dollar, Conditionally Rare MS63
1853 $5 MS63 NGC. The 1853 half eagle is common in circulated grades but mint condition examples are difficult to come by, especially in MS63 and finer. Small marks determine the grade, the most noticeable occurring on Liberty's chin. Census: 5 in 63, 5 finer (11/14).(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25UD, PCGS# 8253, Greysheet# 8899)
