1853-C $5 AU58 NGC. Variety 1. Areas of mint luster remain on this appealing near-Mint example displaying attractive yellow-gold color. The strike is pleasing and the high points of the design exhibit only light wear. Though scattered marks are present, as expected, none is worthy of individual mention. Census: 28 in 58, 25 finer (3/14).
