1853-D $5 Large D AU58 PCGS. Variety 29-T. The design elements are sharply struck, except for minor softness on the eagle's claws and on the arrow feathers. The bright peach-gold surfaces retain considerable luster. The obverse is unusually clean, and the reverse has only inconspicuous marks near STATES and on the top of the shield. Population: 27 in 58, 25 finer (2/07).(Registry values: P1)
