Description
1854 FS-101 Half Eagle, MS62
Doubled Die Obverse
1854 $5 Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS62 PCGS. The strong
doubled die effect produces the curious earring of Liberty. This
well-struck example displays alluring harvest-gold luster, with
some light but irrelevant marks scattered about that do not detract
from the appeal. This is the finest attributed example of the
variety we have had the opportunity to offer in 17 years. PCGS
