1854 $5 MS64 NGC. CAC. A relatively low mintage Philadelphia issue, the 1854 is collectible in AU but undeniably rare as a near-Gem. This lustrous example has lovely light peach-gold toning and displays minimal evidence of contact. The strike is good, although the claws and fletchings are incomplete. Certified in a former generation holder. Census: 8 in 64, 0 finer (2/15).
