1854-D $5 Medium D AU55 PCGS. The reflective luster of this piece is scarcely dimmed by light highpoint wear. As usual for this issue, some striking weakness appears on the eagle, especially on its neck. Only a few marks appear in the fields. Incorrectly designated as a Large D by PCGS. Population: 20 in 55, 45 finer (7/06).
